Gallery Notes
My inspiration and enthusiam for flowers, plantlife and birds was ignited by Vie Tulloch (my Mother in Law) and her beautiful garden in Gallochille, on the Isle of Gigha. Many of the photos above have been taken on my journey of discovery of this fascinating world within a world.

The 50 acre Achamore gardens estate on the Isle of Gigha, offers a gorgeous selection of flowers, plants and trees. Because Gigha lies at the extremity of the Gulf Stream, it has a climate of a very temperate nature which allows species of plants and shrubs not normally associated with the West Coast of Scotland, in particular Rhododendrons, to prosper.
